Weekly Roundup 29 Nov
I feel like it’s been a very active sexual wellness virtual week in Singapore! The Della HQ has also started to look for global sexual wellness events to list on our calendar of events, so if you know of any, please contact us and let us know!
Sugar and Spice Festival
The Sugar and Spice Festival was on from the 17th till the 24th of November. It aims to change the belief that people raised in traditional societies are unable to express themselves when it comes to sex – what are their preferences and attitudes.
Sexy is Okay Fest
Sexy is Okay was a two-day virtual festival that was presented in support of the International Day of Elimination of Violence Against Women. Dr. Angela Tan, family doctor and intimacy coach, Devika Panicker, actress and spokeswoman for AWARE, and Ashley Kok put together an amazing lineup of events that tackled the tricky topic of sexiness in a safe environment, and explored the challenges in expressing our sexual sides.
AWAREFest happened 25 – 29 November. It was an occasion to celebrate AWARE’s first 35 years and set our sights on the next. Through workshops, panel discussions and interactive programmes, this five-day virtual festival aimed to move the needle on gender equality, ignite hard conversations and empower the next generation of activists.
