5 femtech accelerator programmes for the femtech startups
If you are a femtech startup, and looking for an accelerator programme to join, here are five femtech focused programmes that you can have a look at! According to a Forbes article published earlier this month, only 200-ish startups worldwide fall into the femtech space; that sounds like a small number but that means that the potential is huge – and you will still be a first mover if you start now! If an accelerator programme is not your jam, you can also explore crowdfunding for your femtech/sexual wellness passion project (maybe it’s printing a set of paintings, or t-shirts)!
Femtech is a new space with its own unique set of challenges (much like any industry!), and it definitely helps to surround yourself with mentors, friends, experts in the field.
Tech4Eva is a newly launched nine-month femtech start-up acceleration programme for companies developing innovative solutions to improve technologies relating to women’s health. A maximum of 10 innovative projects that have not yet incorporated will also be considered. Applications close 31 March!
FemTech Lab kicked off in December 2020, with the first cohort starting the three-month programme in February 2021. The programme will help 10 startups take their products to market. During the program, startups get access to world-class experts and resources to scale their product development, access relevant go to market channels, and raise funds. Alongside business growth, the program helps founders grow as leaders to set them up for future success and scale.
Based in Israel, EVE offers an acceleration program to promote temtech startups. Femtechers joining EVE will receive personal guidance and undergo a process that will be custom tailored to the venture’s stage, needs and goals, with professional mentors that will be assigned to each venture. Moreover, during the program, each startup will undergo fundability analysis and examination of its suitability to its relevant target market.
We support and aid ventures from ignition, ideation, all the way through formation and MVP (minimal viable product) launch.
During the eight-month AXA Femtech Acceleration programme, launched in 2019 in partnership with 50INTECH, the startups, all raising seed to Series A, will receive support and mentoring from a team of experts including AXA top managers, strategic partners, successful FemTech entrepreneurs and investors, to help project leaders raise funds or develop their business model.
RAISE WITH DELLA®
RAISE WITH DELLA® is a rewards-based crowdfunding platform by The Della HQ, exclusively for founding teams of at least 50% female in the femtech and/or sexual wellness space.
